Thinking about my last two posts,I feel there has been quite a bit of Girl power happening on mah blog.... And the third one is about a GIRL too , ha ha :) :)

Hmmm... A journey of a million miles begins with one step.
If I remember correct, Adam Gilchrist has sponsored for a girl child. I read abt it in a newsletter from one of the centers we donate to. So has Steve Waugh (in Kolkata) I guess when an Aussie or any foreigner can track and sponsor young Indian girls and kids in general, we can give it a good thought too.
Easier said than done. A bigger truth.

I had also sponsored for kids through the organization Child relief and You while I was in college.
I actually donated the money I got as gifts on my birthday from friends and relatives. Wanted to put it to some good use!!!! :)
I hope we can all do some small gestures for the kids(girl child in particular) which will help us make this world a more beautiful place.
